Time is an uncontrollable force that affects all humankind.  But the ancient Greeks saw two parts to what we call “time.” They used two words to describe these two parts: Kronos and Kairos.

Kronos time is the time of the clock.  We are spellbound by this time. Each second draws us closer to our undeniable destiny in death. So, all that we do is driven by the concept of doing, achieving or acquiring as much as we can until the clock says our time is up.

Kairos time is the time of the gods. It is time outside of the clock.  It is the time of eternity, never beginning, never ending.  It is that time into which God through Jesus draws us. Where the timeless God stepped into time-limited creation, now we can step out of the concerns of the clock into the timelessness of the presence of God.

Kairos invites people to experience that limitlessness of time.  Free coffee and cappuccino, acoustic music sets, conversation and something to think about when you leave.
